When did your journey start

My journey started three years back. I entered this serial two years back and from then having lot of fun. I bonded with everyone and I got close with everyone.

Before Padamati Sandhya Ragam did you do any serial

Padamati Sandhya Ragam happens to be my third serial. Before that I did Abhishekam in which I played sister role and in Gemni TV I starred in Sadhana in which I did second lead.

You are so different from your character Charu

Yeah. Of screen and On screen I am totally different. Other cast in the serial are soft in the episodes but they are violent in real life. They are very naughty people. I am little soft but they changed me like them in the sets. Generally I am a bit silent.

How did you feel doing the character with negative shades

I played the negative role for the first time and it was a difficult task for me as earlier I did only soft roles. I learnt a lot after playing the role. Doing soft roles are easy compared to negative roles. But the entire team and director gave me tips and also references and helped me. They asked me to similar to that of Ramya Krishnan in Rajinikanth's Narasimha. When director insisted on it, I practised it a lot. I took it as a challenge. Even in small scene, director used to come and give me tips like how Charu should do.

You also starred in few films

Yes, I starred in films like Pavitra Sametha and played a key role in Rajasekhar's Shekhar.I played lead role in four films and they are currently under post production.

Why did you switch all of sudden to serials

I went to films and slowly I ended up doing serials.

Did you realise anything

No. I did both but I got good name with serials.

We heard that you have good connections with directors and some are relatives of you .. Do you want to reveal it

No..

You never thought of seeking opportunities from them

Not like that. They support me if I ask them but I wanted to prove myself.

Are you Telugu girl

Yes. I am from Gajuwaka from Vizag.

How did you land in Hyderabad

I came for auditions and now shifted.

So directors know that you are doing serials

Yes.

How is the response in social media. Do you receive any messages

Yes. They do. But they get scared at first seeing my on screen performance. Later they wonder how you are so cool while you are so cruel on screen. Padamati Sandhya Ragam gave me good name and stardom.

Generally serials have female viewers. Did you see male viewers.

Yes. Mostly men recognise me and tell to their family members. Mostly men are watching serials while they don't have any option as females on the TV and do cooking in kitchen.

Are you not fedup as you will be in the sets from morning till night.

I am not fedup. But I am still pursuing my education. I am doing BBA final year.Once I came to shoot after completing the exam. I used to lose the sleep. At that time, I felt that they should have given me a break. But due to busy schedule it did not happen.But I am balancing both studies and profession.

What was your family reaction when you told them that you will enter films

At first they thought a lot. I promised them that I will balance both studies and films. They encouraged them and supported saying that if any inconvenience I can return back. My parents and sister are my backbone.Sister is young and she is studying. Now I am happy.

Did you face any odd experiences in the shoot

I never experienced any odd things.I never experienced any problems with the co stars and cast and crew. All of them are very lovely and supportive.

Which recent film you watched and enjoyed

Kalki 2898 AD.I was like left wondering how they shot such a visual wonder.I was shocked and even now I am getting goosebumps. I never expected that they will take the movie in such a way.It is a fantastic and mindblowing. I am waiting for part 2. It is my most recent favourite film.

How much time it will take for you to get your look ready for Padamati Sandya Ragam

30-45 minutes. Only for me means 20 minutes. My makeup will be completed in 20 minutes but for makeup man to come and finalise it ,it will take time.

What will happen in Padamati Sandhya Ragam finally and any twists

I shouldn't tell.

How many bunch of episodes will be there.

Now a days that option is not there. I don't know whether I can reveal it or not. The episode we shoot will be aired the next week. Previously we used to have a two to three weeks gap. So, viewers are getting the opportunity to watch latest episodes instantly.

Do you watch your scenes

I do watch. I do not feel shy but I watch to know whether I missed anything and to improvise. My mother keeps on criticising me. Even if the scene is good, my mother asks me do better it.
