Tusshar Kapoor is quite well-known in B-town for his chivalrous nature. But what he did during the shooting of ‘Love U Mr. Kalakaar’, has made him a real hero - at least for Amrita Rao, his leading lady in the film and of course, the Rajshri unit.

The incident took place in Ooty where they were shooting a song for the romantic film. As word spread that the top stars were shooting there, a crowd began gathering at the location. And before Tusshar, Amrita and the unit could realize, the actors were mobbed by the people who were now getting dangerously close to Amrita.

But before things could get out of hand, Tusshar, like a true Hindi film hero, came to her rescue. He ran towards a jeep standing at a little distance from them, leading the whole crowd to run after him. And in the few moments that she was left alone, Amrita managed to scramble to her car standing close-by, heaving a huge sigh of relief.

“It was a scary situation. The crow was so close to Amrita that she could have got hurt in the melee. And the only way I could think of preventing that was by diverting the people’s attention. So I just ran to the jeep. Thankfully, they all followed me and Amrita could run to her car,” Tusshar says.

If someone ever makes a film on the Pied Piper of Ooty, they now know whom to cast!

Bannered under Rajshri Productions, ‘Love U Mr. Kalakaar’ is directed by S. Manasvi and the film is slated to hit the screens on 13th May 2011.
