Tusshar Kapoor is smiling more than before. With 'Golmaal 3' behind him as the hugest success ever in the history of Bollywood when it comes to the comic genre, he is not denying that it's time for him to take a remuneration hike. Though many actors would shy away from admitting to a demand for a bigger and better pay package, Tusshar feels that it won't be wrong to ask for what he thinks he truly deserves.

"What's wrong with that after all," says Tusshar in a firm yet polite tone, "In any case I have never over or under priced myself. I have been getting a price all this while and while it is X, I definitely deserve 25% more than what I got, say for 'Golmaal 3'."

And if Ekta Kapoor is thinking that she can get her brother for cheap then here is news for her; the price hike applies to Tusshar's home productions as well.

"Of course I have to go by my market price," laughs Tusshar, "Having said that, I would give every project it's due consideration, regardless of whether it is my home production or an outside film. So if a film is say 'The Dirty Picture', I would be giving a good concession since I am there along with other male leads like Naseerudin Shah and Emraan Hashmi. Also, it is not a regular masala film and hence is being made on a tight budget."

"On the other hand for something like 'Kya Kool Hain Hum' sequel, I would charge on a hiked rate since the film is a franchise and they would need me to take forward the brand," adds Tusshar.

Guess the young man has smartened up indeed and this time around he means business even if it is all in the family.
