Tum Mile loses some flood

All these days we were fed with news that how a disaster will be the protagonist of this movie. Now the latest twist is that the love story has replaced it.

According to sources, when the producer Mahesh Bhatt saw the finale outcome of ‘Tum Mile’ recently, he was not satisfied with it and edited 10 mins of the flood scenes. Said Bhatt, “The film did not turn out the way Kunal had visualised it. The film is not about the disaster, but the love story. I just toned down the disaster scenes to make it more viewer-friendly.”

Whereas the director, Kunal Deshmukh, was dead against cutting some portions of the flood scenes, for he thought that they really stood out. However, he explained, “Bhattsaab wanted to play up the love angle and I understood his point of view when I saw the film after 10 minutes had been chopped off. I loved the flow.”

Hmm, and we thought we would get to see a Hollywood kinda film with this one… Alas!
