TTV Dhinakaran unveils party flag and name

Sidelined AIADMK leader TTV Dhinakran floated a new party on Thursday and has officially announced its name to be Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam, after the former Chief Minister Jayalalaithaa. Dhinakran also stated that he is announcing the name only with the permission of Sasikala.
“We will win all upcoming elections from now by using latest name and party flag, we will also try to retrieve the two leaves symbol, till then will use cooker symbol,” Dhinakaran stated. While it is noteworthy that the party flag bears the image of Jayalalithaa, Dhinakaran also said that they would contest election with the ‘cooker’ symbol until the two leaves symbol is retrived from the ‘traitors’.
