Yes it is true! But we mean not literally. The producer Oscar Ravichandran has divulged some very interesting facts about this film.
Mr. Ravichandran while talking about this film spoke about the huge sets that were erected for a tsunami shoot. Around two acres of land was used with more than 1000 artists in the scene. The shoot for this particular scene lasted for 50 days.
We all know that 'Dasavatharam' has been taking longer than usual to hit the theatres, but there seems to be genuine reason behind the delay. The hero, Kamal Haasan has worked strenuously with his diet as well his looks for the film and has wore layers of makeup all over his body for the right look the scenes demand from him.
There is also a sneak preview of the film where Kamal is portrayed as Brahmin and who gets drowned in the sea along with a Vishnu idol.
The producer has also said that they have four lakh feet of the film, which needs to be edited and cramped into two hours and 45 minutes. This is the reason why the producer is unable to pin point the right time as to when the editing will be through.
Well producer sir, we audience will be really happy if the film is worth the wait!
