TSRTC, APSRTC start inter-state bus services; Details inside

Since Monday evening, RTC buses started plying between Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The same was facilitated by an MoU between TSRTC and APSRTC.
If TSRTC buses will operate on 1,61,258-km routes in Andhra Pradesh, it is 1,60,999 km for the other road transport service in the other State.
Pre-lockdown, APSRTC bus services were 1,009. They have now come down to 638. As for TSRTC, the number has come down from 820 services to 750.
Here is the list of routes which have been reopened for plying:
Vijayawada route; Kurnool route; Piduguralla/Guntur route via Wadapally route; Macherla route; the Nuzvid, Tiruvur, Bhadrachalam-Vijayawada route; the Khammam, Jeelugumilli, Jangareddygudem route; the Hyderabad-Srisailam route; Sathupally - Eluru route; Bhadrachalam and Kunta via Kallugudem route; Sathupally-Vijayawada route; among others.
Since public demand is not at pre-lockdown levels, all routes haven't been opened as yet.
