The Telangana Assembly on Monday adopted a resolution against the National Register of Citizens, National Population Register and Citizenship Amendment Act, urging the Centre to review the three.
Earlier, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao said in the Assembly that slogans such as 'Goli Maro Salon Ko' are uncivilized. "A civilized society like ours shouldn't see this as normal. We are a tolerant nature and such reactionary slogans go against the Preamble," the TRS supremo said in the Assembly, adding that everyone who speaks out against the Modi government have been labelled as "anti-nationals".
The CM added that both TRS and AIMIM will work together towards a common goal. Describing the two as "friendly parties", KCR said that some differences do exist between the two parties.
