It is well known that Simbu resumed shooting for his portions in 'Pathu Thala' this month after a long hiatus. On August 11, the makers announced that the Karnataka schedule of the upcoming film is wrapped up. Then, rumours started speculating that STR refused to come to the movie's shooting.

So, we did some digging and here's what we know. According to our sources, Silambarasan is believed to be joining the next schedule of 'Pathu Thala', which kickstarts today in Chennai. This schedule is expected to go on for nearly two weeks. Gautham Karthik will join the shoot and now Priya Bhavani Shankar will join post her Europe vacation.

The team is planning to complete the entire filming by September month. Directed by Obeli N Krishna and produced by Studio Green, 'Pathu Thala' has music by AR Rahman and editing by Praveen KL. It also stars Teejay, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Joe Malloori, Kalaiyarasan, and Redin Kingsley in key roles.
