The production works for Ajith Kumar's 61st film, AK61. The H Vinoth, AK and Boney Kapoor combo reunited for the third for this bank heist thriller. The makers wrapped up a long schedule in Hyderabad a couple of months ago. It is being speculated that the film is titled 'Vallamai'.

Meanwhile, the latest buzz on social media suggests that the official title and first look poster of 'AK61' might be released today marking the birth anniversary of producer Boney Kapoor's late wife and veteran Tamil actress Sridevi. But trusted sources have stated that the buzz is not true but the fans might get shooting spot pictures after the Chennai-Pune schedule begins.

Manju Warrier plays the female lead opposite Ajith Kumar while Veera, Samuthirakani, John Kokken, Ajay and Mahanadhi Shankar are cast in pivotal roles. With music by Ghibran, 'AK61' has cinematography by Nirav Shah. The team is planning to release the movie on a festival date in December or January.
