Mohan Babu who went ahead with his Political Rowdy recently is almost on the verge of rounding it off. The film's talkie part is over and only the songs need to be canned.

Mohan Babu is obviously a relieved man that the film has shaped up well. He should also be happy that the banning of smoking on screen comes to effect only from October 2. For, Political Rowdy has many sequences in which he is shown to smoke.

Political Rowdy should be a good outing for Mohan Babu. For one it is a lively comedy. For another, Mohan Babu gets to play some one his age. He plays an ageing 'dada' in love with a girl who is much younger to him. It is all round fun.

There are plenty of comedy side-kicks (Ali, Venu Madhav, Sunil, Raghu Babu) to add extra mirth.

All in all, Political Rowdy promises much. For us and for Mohan Babu.
