US President Donald Trump has made it official that ISIS founder Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi was killed by the US military forces. "He will never again harm another innocent man, woman or child. He died like a dog, he died like a coward. The world is now a much safer place," Trump said in a public address.
The valour of the military forces has been praised but the President has been trolled by some sections for going "overboard". Said a commentator, "Lets compare a real President like Obama to a joke like Trump. In 2011 when Bin Laden was killed by US Navy Seals, Obama made a short, powerful announcement. In contrast Trump has been babbling about himself for an hour on national TV."
An organization opposed to Trump said, "Thanks, President Trump, for reconfirming with your bizarre presser what we already knew -- you deserve ZERO credit for the death of #Baghdadi. You know who does? The men and women of the U.S. military who you treated as an afterthought this morning."
On the other hand, Trump's supporters have been slamming the trolls in their own way. Piers Morgan said, "If your first thought about the death of a terror leader who burned people alive, beheaded aid workers & threw gay people off buildings, is to attack President Trump - you probably need to stay off Twitter today."
