US President Donald Trump has on Thursday indicated in Hanoi, Vietnam, that India and Pakistan may have decided to de-escalate the situation prevailing at the borders. There may be no war, going by Trump's vague statement.
"I think reasonably attractive news from Pakistan and India, they have been going at it and we have been involved and have them stop, we have some reasonably decent news. Hopefully, it's going to be coming to an end, going on for a long time, decades and decades," Trump said.
Earlier, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo had a telephonic conversation on Wednesday night. "Pompeo said that the US supported India’s decision to take action against JeM terror camp on Pakistani soil," a news agency reported.
