Trouble brewing for Manyata

We had published an article last week regarding the questions being raised on the legality of ManyataÂs wedding to Sanjay Dutt. Trouble started when questions were raised on the authenticity of the residency certificate submitted by Manyata, though she had hardly resided in Goa.
The officials in Goa issued a show-cause notice to Manyata asking her to explain the reason for producing a duplicate resident certificate; one that she had produced for marrying Sanjay Dutt on February 7.
An officer at Salcete said that the office has issued a notice to ManyataÂs Margao address asking her statement. Her marriage registration is also being kept on hold and the official who had produced the false residential certificate without proper verification, has been suspended.
If the officials come to know that the certificate is bogus then the marriage will not be considered as legal. If reports are to be believed, then there are also talks doing the rounds as to how Manyata could have married Sanjay when she has not been issued a legal divorce notice by her previous husband.
