Early Tuesday morning, both Indian and Chinese armies were involved in a scuffle allegedly started by the Chinese side at Chushul area in Ladakh. Both sides sustained minor injuries.

At Pangong lake area in Ladakh, Chinese soldiers were said to have attempted an incursion twice, one within hours of the other, which the Indian side stopped by forming a human chain. The Chinese soldiers then started pelting stones at the Indian soldiers, who then retaliated, chasing their Chinese counterparts away. The situation was soon brought under control. The incursions took place in Finger Four and Finger Five areas.
