Very recently, Bollywood's atypical actress Kalki Koechlin shared a naked pic of hers on social media. Love your nakedness, was the message. The actress captioned her pic as "halfway between shadow and light". It was neither sensuous nor vulgar. The pic was just a statement, as it was captured by a female photographer as against a male one.

When a woman exercises her choice, can mansplaining and trolling be away? Kalki was predictably trolled by a majority of those who commented on the pic. But the 33-year-old can't care less.

As she has told a national daily, such trolling does affect her but she has "learnt to stop responding".
