It's known that the remake rights of the critically-acclaimed Malayalam movie 'Kappela' were acquired by producer Suryadevara Nagavamsi of Sithara Entertainments last year. The Telugu remake was finally floated today in the presence of director Trivikram Srinivas, who was there to bless the team.

Happening actor Siddhu Jonnalagadda and Tamil actor Arjun Das will be headlining the drama, which has debutant Shourie Chandrashekhar T Ramesh wielding the megaphone.

Sweekar Agasthi and Vamsi Patchipulusu, respectively, are taking care of the music and cinematography departments. Written by budding writer Ganesh Kumar Raavuri, the film will hit the floors in August.

Arjun Das, who is playing a pivotal role, was seen in Thalapathy Vijay's 'Master' earlier this year. The film offers him an opportunity to strike gold in Tollywood. As for Siddhu, he was seen in 'Krishna And His Leela' and 'Maa Vintha Gaadha Vinuma' last year. He is also doing 'Narudi Bratuku Natana', also produced by Sithara Entertainments.
