Superstar Mahesh Babu is gearing up to showcase his mass appeal with the highly anticipated film, "Guntur Kaaram," directed by the maestro of words, Trivikram Srinivas. Scheduled for a Sankranti special release on January 12, 2024, the film has already generated immense buzz, thanks to its captivating songs, teaser, and trailer.Expectations are high as Mahesh and Trivikram earlier scored hits like Athadu and Khaleja.

However, amidst the excitement, unsettling rumors are spreading like wildfire, suggesting that the narrative of "Guntur Kaaram," crafted by Trivikram Srinivas, may not be an original creation but rather inspired by the renowned novel "Keerthi Kireetaalu" penned by Yaddanapudi Sulochanarani. This revelation has left Mahesh Babu's fans in astonishment. "Keerthi Kireetaalu" revolves around a beautiful and popular dancer who grapples with a rare disease. The film stars Meenakshi Chaudhary and Sreeleela as the female leads, with the musical genius Thaman composing the soundtrack.

Those familiar with Trivikram Srinivas argue that it shouldn't be a surprise if "Guntur Kaaram" draws inspiration from Yaddanapudi Sulochanarani's novel. Trivikram has a history of adapting existing material into successful films, such as "A Aa," which was based on the novel 'Meena.' Despite its success, Trivikram faced criticism for alleged plagiarism. His film 'Agnyathavaasi' was influenced by the French movie 'Largo Winch,' and accusations of borrowing scenes from 'Mondi Kathi' for 'Aravinda Sametha' were also prevalent. 'Nuvve Nuvve' took inspiration from 'Father Of The Bride,' and several scenes in 'Athadu' were lifted from Hollywood movies.

Speculations abound that the plot of Trivikram's upcoming film, 'Ala Vaikunthapuramlo,' may be borrowed from an old NTR film titled 'Inti Guttu.' Gossips suggest a storyline involving the exchange of Bunny and Sushanth between their mothers, mirroring the narrative of 'Inti Guttu.' As fans eagerly await the release of "Guntur Kaaram," only time will tell whether Trivikram's latest creation is a reinterpretation of Yaddanapudi Sulochanarani's masterpiece, "Keerthi Kireetaalu."
