Trisha the evergreen beauty of South Indian cinema has been regularly updating her fans on what all is happening at her front during this coronavirus lockdown. She also recently interacted with adolescents and youngsters virtually and discussed the innovative solutions for ending all forms of violence against children.
Trisha today posted a video in which she has pointed out the similarities between two of her biggest blockbuster hit films in her career 'Ghilli' and '96'. In the video divided horizontally into two we see that the climaxes of both the films has the heroes Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi respectively saying goodbye to Trisha in the airport.
There are also shots in both 'Ghilli' and '96' of the heroes handing over her flight papters to Trisha and then turning back and walking away with tears in their eyes. Then Trisha is seen alone on flight thinking obviously of her Velu and Ram with sadness in her face.
Wait that's not all the parting shots of both 'Ghilli' and '96' from Trisha's video edit shows Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi at their respective homes going over their lady love's belonging and pining for her.
Well few would have connected these dots and striking similarity between the two films of completely different genres with Vijay's 'Ghilli' a mass entertainer and the Vijay Sethupathi-Trisha starter '96' an out and out poignant love story.
Trisha's upcoming films in Tamil include Mani Ratnam's 'Ponniyin Selvan' costarring Vikram, Karthi, Jayam Ravi and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. She is also doing a female centric film 'Raangi' and is in talks for several others in all South languages.
