It is known that K S Ravikumar is remaking Vikram-starrer Saami (earlier remade into Telugu as Lakshmi Narasimha) in Hindi. While Sanjay Dutt would reprise the protagonist's role, Trisha Krishnan's name has been buzzed for the heroine's role. However, as it turns out, she is not going to act in this film. Blame it on Trisha's commitments.

The actress, who is currently shooting for Vishal's 'Samar', Jiiva's 'Endrendrum Punnagai' and 'Jayam' Ravi's 'Boologam', has politetly turned down the offer to play the heroine of the Bollywood version of Saami.

"Yes, I didn't have an option since my dates were full for the next few months," says Trisha, adding: I have to shoot back to back for which I have to travel extensively."
