Trisha's First day with Dhanush

Actress Trisha has announced that she will be joining the shooting of 'Kodi' directed by Durai Senthilkumar with Dhanush playing dual roles. Trisha and Shamlee act as heroines in this film.

'Though Trisha and Dhanush have been busily acting in Kollywood films for more than 13 years, this is the first time they are acting together in a film. Trisha was first cast as the heroine of 'Aadukalam' but she had to back off due to date issues. But this time things have been firmed up well in advance in Trisha will start shooting for the film from today.The duo have been long time friends but today is the first day they will shoot for a film together.

'Kodi' touted as a political thriller and Dhanush is playing as brothers in the film. This is also the first dual role film of Dhanush and the actor's first film with music director Santosh Narayanan.

The film went on floors last week and has been progressing well.
