Trisha to don a political grey role

Of late, Trisha has been into doing 'hatke' roles. Only recently, we saw her in a slick detective's role in Kamal Hassan-starrer Cheekati Rajyam (Thoonga Vanam in Tamil). Then, in Pandian's Bhogi, she is playing the most important role, sharing the screen space with Poonam Bajwa.
Latest, she is all set to do a political role with grey shades in Dhanush-starrer Kodi. Directed by RS Durai and Senthil Kumar, this Tamil political thriller is produced by Dhanush himself.
The film is based on a chronicling of contemporary Tamil politics. Trisha's character is said to have been inspired by some woman politicians in the country.
