Trisha who just completed 14 dazzling years as a top heroine is currently busy with multiple projects. The petite lass is playing the female lead in 'Sathuranga Vettai 2' with Arvind Swamy and the main lead in the horror flick 'Mohini' directed by Madhesh. Soon she will start shooting for 'Garjanai' the Tamil remake of 'NH 10' and '96' with Vijay Sethupathi. She will also start work on her maiden Malayalam film with Nivin Pauly, later this year.

Amid all these exciting projects, here comes a news about another film that will have the 'Kodi' actress as the main lead. Interestingly this film is also titled with a number and it will be about an incident that shocked the entire nation about a decade ago.

Trisha will be acting in '1818' a Tamil-Telugu bilingual directed by Ridhun Sagar. '1818' is said to be based on the real life incidents during the terrorist attack at various places in Mumbai including the Taj Hotel on 26/11/2008.

The film will have Brammanandam, Misha Goshal and Ramesh Thilak in other important. roles. S.S.Thaman will render the music score with Madhan Karky penning the lyrics for the songs. Om Prakash of 'Arrambam' will take care of cinematography.
