One of the trending environmental awareness campaigns in recent times is the Green India challenge, which had many celebrities planting trees/ saplings in their houses and sharing photos of them on social media to inspire fans.

Before few months, Tollywood superstar Mahesh Babu took up the challenge and nominated Vijay to take up the challenge and Vijay's green India challenge photos turned viral. Earlier this week actor Prakashraj took up the challenge and nominated actress Trisha.

Now, Trisha who has acted with Prakashraj in numerous movies like Ghilli, Abhiyum Naanum etc has accepted the challenge and planted saplings in her home and has shared photos captioned "I accepted the #GreenIndiaChallenge and planted two saplings today.I request you all to do your bit and help towards a greener India??", and these photos have turned viral.
