Legendary director Mani Ratnam is directing Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan after 37 years in 'Thug Life'. The team began shooting by January end and the first schedule was wrapped up days later. Now, it seems that the crew has commenced the next stage of filming with Trisha joining the new leg.

Trisha took to her Instagram stories and shared a piece of paper which said 'Thug Life Scenes' with the caption, "Days like today" (sic). She has joined the shoot in this schedule and Jayam Ravi is expected to join next week. Trisha's update on Thug Life is now going viral among the fans. On the other hand, Kamal is shooting for 'Indian 3' and 'Kalki 2898 AD'.

'Thug Life' stars Kamal Haasan, Trisha, Jayam Ravi, Dulquer Salmaan, Joju George, Gautham Karthik, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Nassar, Abhirami and others. The film is a joint production of Raaj Kamal Films and Madras Talkies with music by AR Rahman, cinematography by Ravi K Chandran and editing by Sreekar Prasad. It will hit the screens this year.
