Actress Trisha has been scoring hits, with last year release 96 co-starring Vijay Sethupathi, and this year she had made a cameo appearance in Superstar Rajnikanth starrer Petta. After playing the lead in movies such as Mohini and Nayagi, Trisha is playing lead in several movies now.

While some of these movies like Paramapatham Vilaiyattu, Garjanai are completed and are waiting to release, another movie Raangi is currently being shot. This movie is directed by Saravanan of Engeyum Eppothum, and is scripted by director AR Murugadoss.

This action movie had its initial schedule in Chennai, and some important action sequences will be shot in Uzbekistan mid September. Trisha will be seen riding a bullet and has performed action sequences without a stunt double. The team has plans to release the teaser of Raangi by end of September.
