Director Radha Mohan has been known for his light hearted entertainers like Mozhi, Azhagiya Theeya, Abhiyum Naanum to name a few, and he had last directed Kaatrin Mozhi starring Jyothika, which was the Tamil remake of Bollywood hit Tumhari Sulu, and the movie was commercially successful.

Now, the latest buzz is that the director has been roped in to direct the Tamil remake of the latest Bollywood Superhit movie Badla directed by Sujoy Ghosh and starring Taapsee Pannu and Amitabh Bachchan in lead roles. The movie which itself was the remake of Spanish thriller The Invisible Guest, was produced by Shahrukh Khan.

It has been said that this Tamil remake will have Trisha reprising Taapsee's role and that the movie will be produced by G Dhanjayan, who had earlier produced Kaatrin Mozhi as well. Trisha previously worked with Radha Mohan in the hit Abhiyum Naanum.While an official confirmation is awaited on this speculation, it must be noted that Radha Mohan has proved himself in the thriller genre with Payanam, a hostage drama.
