Trisha, who has been sustaining as a leading heroine for the past 20 years in the Tamil and Telugu film industries has delivered back to back blockbuster hits in recent times. She hit gold with the Vijay Sethupathi starrer '96' released in 2018 and followed it up with 'Ponniyin Selvan' , 'Raangi' and 'Ponniyin Selvan 2'.
Trisha made headlines earlier this year by reuniting with Thalapathy Vijay in 'Leo' helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj which is one of the most anticipated films of the year releasing on October 19th. She has also been reportedly signed as the female lead in Ajith Kumar's upcoming 'Vidaamuyarchi' directed by Magizh Thirumeni which is also equally anticipated.
Now the news has come that Trisha will be reuniting with Megastar Chiranjeevi for his 156th film produced by his daughter Sushmitha Konidela. The film is the official remake of the Malayalam super hit 'Bro Daddy' starring Mohan Lal and Prithviraj Sukumaran who also directed it.
According to Tollywood reports Trisha will be portraying the role of Chiranjeevi's 50 year old wife who gets pregnant at the same time as her daughter in law played by Srileela. Trisha last acted opposite Chiranjeevi in the movie 'Stalin' directed by A.R. Murugadoss which was released in the year 2006. She was on board for the recent Chiru starrer 'Acharya' but walked out due to creative differences but this time sources say that fans wont miss their pairing.
