Trisha who is ruling the Kollywood film industry like an uncrowned princess for more than a decade is all set to make her debut in the digital space. She has signed a new project named Brinda and is expected to play the titular role in this web series.

The shooting for this much-anticipated series started earlier this week. As many heroines like Kajal Agarwal, Tamannaah and Nayanthara have already made their mark in the digital space it's now Trish's turn to impress her fans.

Touted to be crime thriller series, the series is produced by Avinash Kolla, in association with his brother Ashish Kolla, for OTT Platform, SonyLIV. Newcomer Surya Vangala is writing and directing the web series.

Trisha recently wrapped Manirathnam's magnum opus Ponniyin Selvan. She gave many updates on the movie by posting some exotic pictures from the sets and the location where the movie is shot. Ponniyin Selvan also has Aishwarya Rai, Jayam Ravi, Karthi and many others in pivotal roles.
