Trisha is back at the top in Tamil cinema after delivering dominating performances in 'Ponniyin Selvan' and its sequel and 'Raangi'. Her next biggie is ofcourse Lokesh Kanagaraj's 'Leo' in which she is reuniting with Thalapathy Vijay after fourteen years. The film will arrive in theaters worldwide this October 19th.

Meanwhile news has come that Trish will have another release before 'Leo'. According to the buzz the new movie 'The Road' has completed and the post-production work is going on at a brisk pace. The core film crew who watched the film, were floored by Trisha's brilliant performance and swear that it will be yet another l be a turning point in the evergreen actress's career.

'The Road' is directed by Arun Vaseegaran and stars Trisha, Dancing Rose Shabeer, Santhosh Pratap, Vivek Prasanna, Mia George, Lakshmi Priya, MS Bhaskar and Vela Ramamurthy. Sam CS of 'Vikram Veda' fame is scoring the music for the film based on a true incident that happened in Madurai a few years back. The team is eyeing a release date in the third week of August and will soon make an official announcement and begin promotional activities.
