Actress Trisha continues her 20-year journey as a leading actress in South Indian cinema. She is fondly known as the Queen of the South and never fails to attract the attention of her fans. Now, Trisha opens up about the comparison with Nayanthara for the first time.

Trisha was the first choice for Samantha's role in Vignesh Shivan's directorial 'Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal' alongside Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara. But duo to some reasons the 96 actress was not able to lay the role Addressing it she said "I took it with my heart. I had a good reason for it."

On comparing her with Nayanthara she said "I welcome people who compare me with actress Nayanthara on social media. We both started our screen journey at the same time. Both of us have acted with the same set of actors. I think that is an important reason to compare us both".

I look at the fight between our two fans on a positive note and she hasn't interacted with Nayanthara much. But she is not happy with some fans, who degrade the opponent by praising their favourite, and has asked fans to view the best among the two instead.
