It is difficult to be in Trisha's shoes.

The youth-filled actress has been lurching from one controversy to another. But the problem is now of them is of her own making.

A few weeks ago, a rumor did the rounds that she had taken the extreme step. It turned that another actress was the fount that canard.

Then she was said to be seeing a rich businessman in Hyderabad. She was said to have even married that textile shop owner. But, then again, that also turned out to be some inspired speculation.

But what has now happened is sinister and, in some ways, silly. A video clip is doing the e-mail circuit and that is said to feature the young actress bathing in a state of undress. The clip was purportedly filmed at a hotel in Hyderabad.

The clip had become had become popular and with media men seeking her out for clarification, Trisha's only way out to clear her name was to seek the help of the police.

Trisha, while making it clear that she is not the one who is featured in the clip, has sought immediate action from the Hyderabad police. She met the Commissioner of Police and wanted the culprits to be brought to book. She also said that it was the handiwork of some idle minds.

Come to think of it, Trisha is not the first actress to be a victim of some cyber villain. Some time a video clip did the rounds purportedly featuring together a top actress and a top hero in animated action. Photos and 'action' sequences of actresses show up on the internet from time to time. Almost all Hindi heroines are victims of such acts of perversity. But only Pooja Bhatt made an issue of it.

It is better to ignore such things rather than give some needless publicity.
