Trisha goes to Bollywood

Toeing the lines of Asin, Genelia and Shriya, looks like Trisha will be the next South Indian actress to go to Bollywood!

It is now confirmed that the Leysa Leysa star has found her next big break in cinema, through the director who introduced her as heroine first, Priyadarshan. The actress, who is currently working in ‘Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya’ with Silambarasan and ‘Aadukalam’ with Dhanush, is all set star as Akshay Kumar’s heroine setting foot in Bollywood.

Reports have it that the action king has decided to produce this film himself, and is letting Priyadarshan direct it. Reports have it that Akshay Kumar saw Trisha’s ‘Abhiyum Naanum’ on a DVD and was so convinced with the actress that he wanted her to be his next heroine. The actress has also given her consent for the role, and is all set to be launched in Bollywood with this film, which will also be a comedy.
