Trisha gets the fizz

She is the de facto number one in Tamil though she is keen to do more films in Telugu than in her mother tongue.

But Trisha's rising popularity graph is illustrated by the fact that she has been roped in by Coca-Cola to be its brand ambassador for its flagship product Coke.

The deal, they say, is worth Rs.50 lakh.

What is curious about it all is the fact that Trisha was, not long ago, seen in a Pepsi commercial along with Madhavan.

The hotshot Rajeev Menon will can the new ad. The ad will be featured all across the South as Trisha is popular in Andhra too.

With so much going her way, Trisha may be in a mood for some champagne. But Coke may perhaps object to that.
