The leading south Indian actress Trisha has been conferred with Best Actress Award for her outstanding performance in telugu super hit movie 'Aadavari Matalaku Ardhale Verule’.

The film, directed by Selvaraghavan has Venkatesh and Trisha in the lead roles. Trisha received lot of critical acclaim from all quarters for her acting and now Maa TV has selected her as the Best Actress of 2007 for her performance in the movie.

The movie, which went on to become a big hit, is being remade in Tamil in the name of 'Yaaradi Nee Mohini’, starring Dhanush and Nayantara in the lead. The movie is directed by Mithran R. Jawahar and is expected to hit the halls by the first week of April.

Nayantara must be happy, as she plays a role that has fetched lot of accolades to Trisha. The movie could well propel Nayan’s career as an outstanding performer, as it provides a challenging role to her.
