Trisha this morning joined a rally for the World Day against Child Labour jointly organised by the UNICEF and Tamil Nadu government. She flagged off a signature movement by writing " Lat us join hands to put an end to child labour". The rally was attended by the Chennai Collector, Anbu Selvan and the Labour Welfare Department Commissioner Nandagopal.

Speaking at the occassion Trisha stated " As we all know today is the World Day against Child Labour, So let us all join hands and ensure that we put an end to it. Over the last decade there has been a considerable reduction in child labour and I would like to congratulate the labour department for their great effort to it. Lets all come together, join hands and make a differnce.

On the film front Trisha will soon be seen in '96' opposite Vijay Sethupathi and 'Mohini' in which she plays the lead.
