One of the most celebrated actors of Bollywood, the versatile Irrfan Khan passed away today after being admitted in Mumbai’s Kokilaben Hospital due to colon infection. The actor had just returned to acting after receiving treatment for neuroendocrine tumour.
With an excellent repertoire of films, Irrfan has been remembered for both Indian and International movies and has acted in memorable flicks like The Namesake, Life of Pi, Paan Singh Tomar, Maqbool, Talvar, Hindi medium etc. Film lovers and stars all over the world have been tweeting condolences after Irrfan’s sudden demise.
Actress Trisha had got the opportunity to work with Irrfan Khan in the Telugu movie Sainikudu in 2006, and sharing a photo featuring herself and Irrfan from the movie on her Instagram story, posted “Woke up to more tragedy and shock today. RIP #IrrfanKhan. I feel happy to have shared screen space with you. Your body of work, talent and dignity never failed to amaze me. Love and strength to your family.”
