Actress Trisha was last seen on screen in the Superstar Rajnikanth starrer Petta, where she appeared in a cameo as the Superstar's wife, and the actress has been acting in a number of movies including Raangi by M Saravanan, Sugar which co-stars Simran and many more.

One of her long delayed movies that has now come to light is Garjanai, an action thriller. The movie was launched before few years, and was completed, and was not finding a release date. Now, as per sources, the team is planning to release the movie on September 6, though an official announcement is yet to arrive.

Garjanai also stars Amit Bhargav, Vamsi Krishna and many others and is directed by debutant Sundar Balu who is currently directing Kanni Theevu with Varalaxmi Sarathkumar. Garjanai's trailer has been announced to be released on August 21.
