Her first film in Hindi is yet to be out, but the actress has no qualms when it comes to promoting her debut vehicle.

Trisha has completed her first film in Bollywood under the baton of Priyadarshan. The Akshay Kumar starrer film ‘Katta Meetha’ is waiting to release this week and the director is upset with his heroine now.

Of late promotions have become the make or break element in the success of Bollywood films and toeing it Priyadarshan has made elaborate plans for the promotional activities of the film releasing on July 23.

But all his plans may go for a toss as the leading lady of the film, Trisha, will be absent for the promotions. Following which even Akshay seems to be feeling low. Reason – the south beauty is in Europe shooting for a Tamil project ‘Manmadhan Ambu’, starring Kamal Haasan film. And it’s unlikely she will leave the Kamal film for Akshay Kumar.

Hmmm, is it a case of a Southie at heart always a Southie? Or is the bala too committed to her unfinished work, rather than to divert her energies in promoting her debut movie?
It may be remembered that Asin went all out in the promotions of her first Hindi film ‘Ghajini’ along with Aamir Khan. But here it seems only our Khiladi Kumar will have to occupy the space of Trisha on the promotional chart of ‘Khatta Meetha’.
