Actress Trisha had started shooting for the movie Garjanai before few years, and the movie, which was announced to be the remake of Anushka Sharma starrer and her debut production venture NH10 is all set to release soon, and is currently in post production phase.

Speaking in a recent interview, the movie's director Sundar Balu heaped praises on Trisha, as he revealed that, the movie involves a lot of action sequences, and Trisha did the stunts without a body double, and that the actress overcame the threat of leech attacks, as the movie was shot in nights, and places where it had rained heavily.

Said to be revolving around Madhu, a western dancer played by Trisha and her trip to Kodaikanal with her boyfriend which gets her into critical situation and showcases events happening in one night, Garjanai also stars Vamsi Krishna, Amit Barghav and Sri Ranjani, the movie's Tamil Nadu theatrical rights was recently bagged by SDC picturez and is all set to release soon.
