British actress Amy Jackson had made her acting debut in Tamil with the movie Madarasapattinam directed by AL Vijay, and had later acted in movies like Thandavam, Devi, I, Theri and also acted in the Hindi remake of Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya and few Telugu movies.

Amy Jackson had acted with Superstar Rajnikanth in 2.0 directed by Shankar, and the actress got engaged to her boyfriend, industrialist George Panayiotou in January last year. The couple have a son Andreas who was born on September 23, and they're set to get married this year.
