T.Rajendhar annoyed by the response for his speech in ‘Puli’ audio launch

The electrifying and flamboyant speech of T.Rajendhar with his trademark rhyming style was a surprise treat to everyone who attended the audio launch of Ilayathalapathy Vijay's 'Puli'. The speech became a huge sensation when it was telecast in online platforms and in a prominent Tamil TV channel.

However the same speech was also trolled by many, especially in the social media and a huge number of memes were created using it.

This seems to have hurt Rajendhar to the extent that he decided to avoid participating in the film related events. The multi-talented personality revealed this in the single track release function of Jiiva starrer 'Pokki Raja' which has been produced by P.T.Selvakumar who was also one of the producers of 'Puli' and a PRO of Vijay.

TR said he refused to attend the event when Selvakumar invited him and later said he would attend only as an audience and not as a speaker. But he spoke on the insistence of Selvakumar.

TR said he participated in the event only because PT Selvakumar was the first person to come forward to help in his capacity of a person close to Vijay when he was struggling to release his son Silambarasan's 'Vaalu'.

TR also pointed out that gratitude has been the virtue that has been forgotten by many people in the film industry.
