When Ravi Teja is the cop, the 'touch' is expected to be earth-shattering. Visibly avoiding any trace of a 'Vikramarkudu' hangover, director Vikram Sirikonda seems to be out to present a 'Power'-like Mass Maharaja in 'Touch Chesi Chudu'.
When he in the cop's uniform, Ravi Teja loses his control. His fiery dialogue-delivery should entertain us. Before finishing off a villain, he can seek the answer to a mathematical formula. This is rather plain.
There is a doting family with whom the hero eats affectionately, every single day. Then there are two heroines (Raashi Khanna and Seerat Kapoor), who are ever-ready to be made fun of and dance around.
Deepak Raj's screenplay and Srinivas Reddy's dialogues, one hopes, don't smack of run-of-the-mill story-telling and heroism.
Music is by JAM 8 and Chota K Naidu and Richard Prasad have handled the camera - on the face of it, these two departments are in safe hands. Much is expected from Freddie Daruwallah, Vennela Kishore (as the hero's sidekick), Ajay Suhasini Maniratnam and others.
The film releases on Feb 2.
