Trailer Review: Srinivasa Kalyanam

Releasing the Trailer of 'Srinivasa Kalyanam', Mahesh Babu has rightfully said that he is "looking forward to this grand wedding". If he is seeing only a grand wedding, it's not his mistake.

The caption of the movie is this: 'It's not an event. It's a beautiful moment'. But it wouldn't have been wrong had the caption been this: 'It's not an event. It's the ONLY event'. You might as well tell us not to judge a movie by its trailer, but then the trailer doesn't give anything more than the feeling articulated in our caption.

The rom-com track between Nithiin and Raashi Khanna, for the looks of it, is cliched (complete with Vidyullekha Raman and Praveen).

And if we remember the lines about marriage heard in the trailer, it's not because they are inventive. It's thanks to Jaya Sudha, who retains her magical innocence, with which we have been in love with since 'Bommarillu'.

Prakash Raj and Nandita Swetha are expected to throw up things unseen in the trailer.

With music by Mickey J Meyer and cinematography by Sameer Reddy, the technical departments are promising.

The entertainer will hit the screens on August 9.
