Trailer Review: 'SPYder'

He is no spiderman or superman, the hero tells his friend (played by Priyadarshi), branding himself as an intelligence officer Shiva, who metamorphoses into a larger-than-life phenomenon when a misanthropic killer turns out deaths by thousands.
The film seems to characterize Mahesh Babu first as a no-nonsense, unsuspecting officer who is just going about his life without a major challenge. When Mahesh says, 'Na peru Shiva', he sounds very calm and relaxed. He is busy intercepting the calls of a Brahmaramba (Rakul Preet Singh), yet another curious girl who is apparently unfashionable in 'love matters'.
The big 'SPYder' moment arrives when the earth starts breaking up, literally. 'When humans are more in number than goats, why shouldn't they be massacred?' Indian cinema's most Hitlerian, genocide-mongering, villain (SJ Suryah) says ominously.
The graphics are good. Although one would have expected a punch line here or a better dose of romantic comedy there in the Trailer, the Sept 15 gift doesn't really disappoint.
