'Raja The Great' had its task cut out. The hyper active hero that is Ravi Teja is playing a blind man. And so, the film was always inherently experimental.

Anil Ravipudi doesn't disappoint. The blind hero's extra sensory powers can bring others' sensory powers under control. When he is wooing the heroine (Mehreen is lusted by the villain in a clichéd plot line), Mass Maharaja is at his naughty self. He has a formidable sidekick in Srinivas Reddy.

Ravi Teja's characterization should be the film's raison d'être.

The ensemble cast can't get better. Rajendra Prasad, Prudhvi, Posani and Sampath are all there. And Radhika as that filmi mother makes her presence felt.

This Diwali, let's hope the film will live up to its expectations.
