Trailer review: 'Okka Kshanam'

The teaser had these elements in ample measure: Two parallel lives (stated explicitly), a life under threat (implicit), a futuristic set-up (deduced), complex mind-games (perhaps), and soft romance. The trailer of 'Okka Kshanam', to be sure, is an extension of its engaging teaser.
Perhaps, the dosage of rom-com is more than what the teaser suggested. Allu Sirish plays a youngster who stays away from girls for reasons yet to be known. But when Surabhi enters his life, you know the result. Even his parents are impressed.
Avasarala Srinivas narrates his story with Seerat Kapoor and here in store is another round of rom-com entertainment.
When Jayaprakash says parallelism is science, director Vi Anand makes his appearance through every frame, we believe. Trust the 'Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada' director to do that.
Mani Sharma's music and Sujeeth Vasudev's visuals, not to forget Chota K Prasad's editing, are looking nimble in the trailer. Nagendra Prasad's art direction could be another big strength. Sathya is ready to become a 'bakra'. Praveen, Kashi Vishwanath and Rohini are other members of the cast. Vennela Kishore is not seen around. Dialogues are by Abburi Ravi.
The film will release on Dec 28.
