Trailer review: 'Okka Ammayi Thappa'

  • IndiaGlitz, [Monday,May 09 2016]

From the beginning, the subject of Okka Ammayi Thappa has aroused curiosity in all those who have heard about it. The reason is that the film essentially is a thriller that takes place in on a flyover. The trailer has only re-affirmed the audience's interest.

Sundeep Kishan and Nithya Menen share a rom-comish relationship, complete with the hero pulling the heroine's legs.

What comes across as a rom-com in the backdrop of a traffic jam, turns into an actioner after some time. Apparently, the hero is drawn into a story of which he was never a part. He goes on to become that story's protagonist, sucked into it by forces not under his control. This thrilling aspect might just click for the film in a big way.

Chota K Naidu's cinematography is one of the biggest strengths, going by the trailer. Expect Rajasimha to deliver a dekko with this film.
