Don't provoke me. That's how Katamarayudu starts off by warning. The way he says 'Rey.. Nannu recchagottakandra..', it feels like a cross between his 'Gabbar Singh' and 'Komaram Puli' dialogue delivery styles.

Pawan has a typical mannerism in the movie. When it's time to show his 'ugra roopam' (minus reddish eyes and feverish shouts), he will lift the 'pancha' in style. And nobody can escape his wrath after this symbolic threat!

The man knows when to show anger. As he pontificates, "Kopanni, ayudhanni ekkada vadalo telusuko". That explains why Katamarayudu is mostly seen in a jovial or romantic mood!

Oh yes, it's bromance and romance ahoy! He starts off as a women-eschewing solo bachelor. In comes Shruti Haasan to end his dull bachelorhood. Poor Ali was afraid to even show him her pic.

He is Hanuman's devotee perhaps, as can be surmised from the larger-than-life statue of the deity seen in a fight where the protagonist bashes up the baddies with a holy chain in his hands!

To be sure, Rao Ramesh and Pradeep Rawat are the main villains. From what can be seen in the trailer, the villainy is overshadowed by indulgent hero-centricism. One hopes it's not the case, though.

Anup Rubens' numbers are writ large on the trailer. Baby Laasya has an important role, which is why they are calling her the Princess...
