'Ghazi' sees Megastar Chiranjeevi as the narrator (it's Amitabh Bachchan in Hindi and Suriya in Tamil). Contrary to what you might have expected, Chiru's tone and tenor, at least as far as the trailer is concerned, is mellowed. It could be that the vocal intensity ascends in tune with the film's tempo.
Rana's dialogue (penned by Gunnam Gangaraju) that whether or not they (he and his team) will be sung in the history, they will be 'present' in the future of Vizag and India, is rooted in the story. The Indo-Pak battle in 1971, a classified event about which many don't and can't know fully, threw up a victory for India, without the victors being glorified in public imagination.
This edge-of-the-seat thriller has cinematography by Madhie. High production standards, top notch performances from Rana, Tapsee, Kay Kay Menon, and an enthralling background score and authentic war episodes, as the makers said, will be watched out for.
Eva Motion Studios has done the Vfx. Costume designing is by Ashwanth Byri. Stunts are by Jashuva. BGM is by K. Editing is by A Sreekar Prasad. Niranjan Reddy and Gunnam Gangaraju have done the additional story and screenplay.
'Ghazi', the Telugu-Hindi-Tamil trilingual that is touted as India's first submarine war film, will hit the screens on Feb 17th. It has been certified with 'U'.
